Frisco ISD Historic Growth Rate

If you are in Frisco ISD, it should come as no surprise that we are the fastest growing district in the State of Texas. It is a challenge for the Board and the entire district to keep up with this tremendous growth. We are proud that we have been able to hold the tax rate to one of the lowest in the area while opening so many new schools.

As you can see from the table, Plano lowered their tax rate below Frisco's this past year. However, this is largely driven by our debt payments ($0.39 for Frisco compared to $0.2484 for Plano). On an operational basis the Frisco tax rate is $0.96 compared to $1.02 for Plano.
